Episode Description: When former Griffin family neighbor
Cleveland Brown returns to Quahog for a week, he visits his old friends Peter,
Joe and Quagmire at the local bar. When Peter gets tired of his wife, Lois,
constantly demanding for him to do chores, the group decides to take a road trip
to New Orleans, Louisiana. While driving through a rural area in Georgia, the
group is pulled over by a police officer, causing Peter to talk down to the
officer. This results in the sheriff punching out one of their headlights, and
planting a bag of marijuana in their trunk. He then takes the group to the
county work camp, where they are forced to perform various tasks, including
ditch digging and rock crushing. As their stay in the jail supposedly comes to
an end, the warden then approaches them and tells them that their stay has been
extended an additional thirty days. Another prisoner then tells them that his
imprisonment was also extended, and he has been in the jail for 45 years. Scared
that they’ll also be locked up forever, they decide to break out of the prison
once the prison guards’s eyes are diverted. Successful in their attempt, they
soon come across a home, and discover a set of handcuff and shackle keys. They

Family Guy is an animated American television sitcom created
by Seth MacFarlane that airs on Fox and regularly on other
television networks in syndication. The show centers on a semi-dysfunctional
family that lives in the fictional town of Quahog,
Rhode Island. The show uses frequent “cutaway gags”, jokes in
the form of tangential vignettes.

Family Guy was canceled once in 2000 and again in 2002, but
strong DVD sales and the large viewership of reruns on Cartoon Network’s Adult
Swim convinced Fox to resume the show in 2005. It is the first cancelled show to
be resurrected based on DVD sales, and the only one to be resurrected twice on
that basis.

Family Guy is a show originally created in 1999 after the
Larry shorts (its predecessor) caught the attention of the Fox
Broadcasting Company during the 1999 Super Bowl commercial. Its
cancellation was announced, but then a shift in power at Fox and outcry from the
fans led to a reversal of that decision and the making of a third season after
which it was cancelled again. Reruns on Adult Swim drove interest in the show
up, and the DVD releases did quite well, selling over 2.2 million copies in one

    Pencil is a vector drawing program for Windows that lets you make your own digital comics.
    Pencil is based around traditional hand-drawn animation techniques, and it’s free. At the center of the application is a timeline, which allows you to add four types of layers: bitmap image, vector image, sound, and camera. The animation basically works by setting keyframes one each layer and arranging the different layers on top of each other.
    You start by sketching out your characters in bitmap format using the pencil tool, before adding a vector layer and inking it out with the pen tool and fill tool. The principle of Pencil is very simple and the interface is much clearer than that of Flash or a similar high-end animation tool. What we liked about Pencil is that all the tools and options are on display from the start and nothing is hidden, plus you can detach or remove palettes to make things easier on yourself.
    The problem with Pencil is that it’s very difficult to produce good quality drawings unless you have a graphics tablet – most mouses simply aren’t conducive to precise sketching. What’s more, there aren’t any predefined shapes, objects or templates included that might help you get started.
    So, while Pencil might be a good way to learn the basic principles of cartoon animation, it’s difficult to create anything truly impressive unless you’ve lots of patience.
